A SCOTTISH BACKPACKER has been reunited with her crush after her missed connection poster went viral.
Sarah, who hails from Glasgow and was is backpacking through New Zealand, erected a handmade sign in an effort to be reunited with a man she made made eyes at last Friday.
She also put up this sign pleading with passersby not to interfere with her chance at finding love.
The sign, which was put up in the tiny town of Picton, quickly generated widespread interest in New Zealand and the mystery man was identified as Will Scott Chalmers.
Chalmers told Daily Mail Australia that he heard about it from his housemate, who immediately knew that the sign was referring to his friend.
He knew it was me because I’m the only guy in Picton who has star tattoos, Johnny-Bravo hair and a labradoodle.
Upon discovering it was him, Chalmers’ Mamencouraged him to meet the young woman.
She told me that she didn’t raise me to not show up, so that’s what I’m going to do.
And that’s exactly what he did.
Sarah waited in the place she first spotted Chalmers and the pair were reunited on Tuesday.
From there, they planned to get dinner and a drink with Chalmers promising to keep the world updated as to how they get on.
They’ve got the well wishes of the town on their side anyway.
D’aw.
